Francine C. Gachupin, PhD, MPH

Francine C. Gachupin, PhD, MPH, is a Pueblo of Jemez tribal member.  She is an Associate Professor, Department of Family and Community Medicine, College of Medicine, University of Arizona, Tucson.  She is an epidemiologist and focuses on training and research.  Her training focuses on conducting respectful research with tribes and teaching students about research methods and community engagement. Her research focuses on obesity related diseases such as diabetes, cancer and cognitive impairment.
